The story of Yoreka! began in Marietta, Georgia in the home kitchen of Mr. Joe Buddha and his wife Wee, two trained food scientists by degree and creative cooks by love. They were in search of the perfect frozen yogurt recipe that would be delicious, healthy, and a refreshing summer treat. Using their knowledge of the yogurt fermentation process, they developed myriad of recipes using only growth hormone-free (rBGH-free) milk and natural ingredients. Daughters June and Jane became taste-testers and helped perfect the recipe over several months and many gallons of frozen yogurt.

Then, one hot Georgia night, Wee handed Joe a spoonful of what she thought was the perfect yogurt recipe. The cool, tingly flavor rushed over his taste buds, and he quickly smiled with delight. He knew they had found something magnificent! “Eureka!” he exclaimed. “You found it!”

Realizing that his wife had developed the perfect frozen treat, Joe set out on a mission to share their creation with the world.
